The Perrin Gallery, Leighton House, 2011-12

The Perrin Gallery in Leighton House is a cuboid space.  Inspired by the boxes left out for recycling in the street at night, I found parallels between the plain exterior of the house with its treasures from around the world, and these boxes, a symbol of global trade. I played with the box form and made a set of four large opened shapes for the walls and 3 unfolded sculptures for the gallery and garden.
