West Norwood Cemetery

The removal of headstones by Lambeth Council in the 1970s.  It is customary to rent headstone space for a number of year, after which headstones are removed and often piled up against church buildings.  In the case of West Norwood Cemetery an area was cleared in the 1970s to provide space for new burials.
